Always advise us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend for your appointment – this will allow us to use the time for someone else.
Routine GP Appointments – bookable from 10am daily
Routine GP appointments are available up to 28 days in advance. All our routine GP appointments are available to book from 10am daily. These may be booked via telephone/at reception or online:
Early Morning/Evening Routine Appointments
Ideally suited for those who work full time, we offer early morning (from 7.30am) and evening (up to 7.20pm) routine GP appointments 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) as well as early morning appointments on a Friday. We also have some availability with our nursing team during these times.
GP Telephone Consultations
We offer telephone appointments within each routine GP surgery, your receptionist would be able to advise you if your condition would be suitable for a routine telephone slot.
Routine (non-urgent) messages can be left for clinical staff with reception and you would usually expect a response within 2 working days.
Urgent (Acute) Care Service within the Practice
Our Urgent (Acute) Care Service runs alongside our routine GP service. This service is covered by both GPs and Nurse Practitioners. Unfortunately we are unable to deal with ongoing issues within the Urgent Care Service however we have the opportunity to deal quickly and effectively with patients with acute problems.
In order for our receptionist to be able to direct you to the most appropriate clinicians, they may need to ask you for details of your acute medical condition. All information given to our reception or clinical team will be treated in confidence.
Other Urgent Care Services
SAME DAY HEALTH CENTRE (Minor Illness & Minor Injury Service)
Based within Morecambe Health Centre, the service is run by highly qualified Nurse Practitioners and a GP on a daily basis. You may book these appointments yourself (Dial 111) or, if we feel it is appropriate for you to be seen by them, we will book it for you. - Click here for more information on the Same Day Service
