Having online services like Patient Access allows you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online Please note: due to the coronavirus pandemic, not all appointments are avilable to book online as calls must be triaged for patient safety
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

Being able to book appointments online, will free up the phone lines for patients who don`t have access to the internet or have a smartphone

Being able to order your own prescriptions iand have it sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice is a real time saver

Being able to see your record online might help you to manage your medical conditions. It also means that you can access it from anywhere in the world should you require medical treatment on holiday. Please note, medical record viewing is for those aged 16 or over only. 

The services is open 24/7/365 and can be accessed from any PC, Tablet or Mobile phone.




Register at the surgery in person

Step 1: Download, complete and print our form

Step 2 : Visit the Practice in person and hand to reception your completed application form.

Please Note that we also have the application form at reception if you are unable to download, complete and print it.

Step 3 : Show your Identification if over 16 - two forms of ID. one photo ID such as Passport, drivers licence, freedom pass etc and also one form of ID with your home address such as recent utility bill, bank statement etc. Full List of acceptable ID

Once you have completed the above steps, the Practice will process your application and send you your registration details by post.  

Register over the phone

Call the surgery on 01524 511999 and advise the Patient Advisor you wish to register for online services and they will ask you a few questions relating to your healthcare, which is to confirm your identity. They will then task a team who will configure this for you and contact you with your details  (this may take a few days depending on workload).

How to setup your Patient Access account

Simply follow the instuctions given to you in the letter.

Once you have registered your Patient Access account, you will have full access to all the online services you requested. Please remember to take note of your User ID as this is needed to log in each time. 



We're serious about security

Once setup with a password, Patient Access have introduced a further step to keep you secure. This is in the form of a memorable word. You will be asked to provide a memorable word, when you log in any time it will ask you to provide certain letters from this word ie, your 3rd, 4th, 6th letter.
