Important Parking Update

From Monday 20 April 2026, the new Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) parking system at Heysham Primary Care Centre will go live!

Parking remains free for all patients, all visitors and all staff when visiting the building up to 2 hours from entry of numberplate

  • All patients on every visit, must enter their vehicle registration at the kiosks in the building
  • For anyone parking over 2 hours then charges may be applied if not permitted to do so
  • Sundays will be an exception for a trial period of 3 months, so our local community groups and church can use the car park free of charge without having to input their registrations

This system is simply to help keep parking spaces available for patients using the centre.

What you need to do when you visit:

  • Enter your vehicle registration into one of the parking kiosks inside the building
  • Kiosks are located on both the ground floor and first floor

You’ll need to register your vehicle if you are:

  • Attending an appointment
  • Using any onsite service
  • Visiting the pharmacy
  • Working on site

Warning

  • Vehicles not registered will receive a parking charge notice by the ANPR company, so please remember to sign in
  • Vehicles parking longer than 2 hours (without permission to do so) will receive a parking charge notice

Thank you for helping us keep spaces available for everyone who needs them
